Damovo Sweden has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to join our team. Reporting to the Director Sales – Damovo Northern Region, the successful candidate will have a hunter mentality and will be responsible for winning new business opportunities.

As a Business Development Manager (m/f/d), you will manage the complete sales cycle from initial prospect engagement through to deal close, and ongoing account management. With a consultative, services and solutions-based selling style, you will build effective relationships to fully understand customer requirements and needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business for our versatile product line including Modern Workplace, Cyber-Security, Enterprise Networks and Global Services to grow our customer base.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively deliver on Damovo’s strategy for revenue and margin growth in the private and public sector within the Modern Workplace, Cyber-Security, Enterprise Networks und Global Services markets in Sweden
  • Generate, manage, and close new business wins from within our target markets. This will include creating, maintaining, and executing strategic account and opportunity plans to ensure structured development and an organized approach
  • Manage all new business engagements including prospect identification, solutions definition, bid negotiation, pricing and closure activity
  • Work with the Pre-Sales, Services and Project teams to develop robust Solutions and Managed Services propositions
  • Meet and exceed agreed monthly and annual margin and order intake targets
  • Ensure accuracy in forecasting and keep our CRM tool up to date

Skills & Personal Characteristics

  • Able to identify, articulate and promote how Damovo solutions and managed services offerings can help a prospect to achieve their business objectives
  • Able to question effectively whilst gaining an understanding of the prospect’s business needs
  • Capable of presenting technology roadmaps in conjunction with the Damovo Pre-Sales team, demonstrating how a prospect can drive maximum value from their technology for competitive advantage
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate dedication, drive, and ambition with an ability to work comfortably in a dynamic environment
  • A personable and outgoing individual with excellent negotiation skills

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • 5 + years proven experience and track record of successful new business solution sales within the Modern Workplace, Cyber-Security, Enterprise Networks und Global Services sector
  • Commercial experience with Modern Workplace, Cyber-Security, Enterprise Networks und Global Services
  • Ability of working to a clear sales target and meeting management expectations in terms of accurate forecasting and activity planning
  • Curiosity around technology and how it will benefit organizations in the future
  • Demonstrated creativity in the new business sales approach
  • Educated to degree standard or demonstration of entrepreneurial qualities
  • Fluent in business English & Swedish
