We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant (m/d/f) to join our dynamic Finance team in Poland. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of Polish GAAP accounting principles. This is a part time opportunity requesting a minimum 20 hours/ week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various accounting tasks for Damovo Poland, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with Polish GAAP
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports for the Polish Statistical Office and National Bank of Poland in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Support audit processes by taking part in preparation of accurate and well-documented financial statements
  • Assist in monthly and annual financial closings and contribute to improving internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Participate in the preparation and implementation of legal requirements such as KSeF (e-invoice) and CIT JPK (corporate tax XML reporting)

Experience & Skills We Are Looking For:

  • A few years of professional experience in accounting, ideally within a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of Polish GAAP accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with financial audits and statutory reporting
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software; proficiency in SAP B1 or similar accounting tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in English and Polish, both written and spoken
