We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Administrator (m/f/d) to strengthen our IT department. In this role, you’ll take ownership of both local and cloud-based infrastructure systems, support users across all levels, and help shape our digital workplace of the future.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for both software infrastructure and client systems
  • Administer, configure, and optimize environments such as:
    Operating systems, virtualization platforms
    Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Azure
    Business and service applications, hosted either on-site at our Düsseldorf data center or in the cloud
  • Act as a key contact for users, offering guidance on software-related questions
  • Manage the lifecycle of operating systems and applications, including asset documentation
  • Handle permission and access management (e.g. AD, AAD, SharePoint)

 

Experience and Skills we are looking for

  • A completed vocational qualification (e.g., IT Specialist – System Integration) or equivalent professional experience in a Microsoft-focused environment
  • Proven experience in IT support
  • Proficient with:
    Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
    Active Directory, GPO, and authorization management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Veeam Backup, and the Microsoft Cloud is a plus
  • Initial experience with Linux, WSUS, PowerShell, and SharePoint
  • Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written
