As Head of Business Development (m/f/d), you will drive Damovo’s strategic growth agenda - identifying, developing, and expanding opportunities across key markets. Your focus will be on unlocking new business within Customer Experience (CX) Sales and/or the Defence & Public Sector verticals, positioning Damovo as a trusted innovation partner.

You will shape and execute high-impact business strategies, transforming new ideas into tangible results. This role combines strategic foresight with hands-on execution - from landing new logos to evolving them into sustainable, long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth by acquiring and expanding new customers within CX Sales and/or the Defence & Public Sector, aligning Damovo’s value propositions with client transformation priorities
  • Build scalable revenue streams, leveraging CX, AI, and digital transformation as catalysts for enterprise growth
  • Differentiate Damovo through cross-portfolio integration, hybrid business models, and platform-led solutions
  • Lead go-to-market initiatives — collaborating across internal teams and external partners to design, launch, and refine innovative offerings
  • Develop and test new business models such as compliance services, services-led sales, and ecosystem partnerships that address evolving customer and regulatory demands
  • Validate innovation through pilot programs and proof of concepts (PoCs), scaling successful initiatives into repeatable business models

 

Experience and Skills We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record in business development and complex sales, ideally within CX, Defense, or Public Sector markets - with a focus on ICT and digital transformation
  • Demonstrated success in land & expand strategies, driving measurable cross-portfolio growth
  • Strong expertise in value creation through platform integration, ecosystem collaboration, and customer-centric innovation
  • Experience in developing and commercializing new business models and revenue streams
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. DORA, NIS2, EU AI Act) and their business implications for enterprise customers
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at C-suite level
  • Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and hands-on mindset, combined with strategic foresight and a collaborative approach
