Damovo is recruiting a Sales Development Representative (m/f/d) with an attractive and defined career path. This role will be based in Dublin and focused on selling into the UK and Ireland markets.

We are looking for an ambitious person who wants to gain experience in a dynamic company with a truly global reach whose core business is utilising the latest technology to solve our customers problems.

We want the successful candidate to build a career in Sales within Damovo and progress through our sales function with the goal of developing their own customer accounts.  To ensure this is a success, the candidate will receive coaching and mentoring from our experienced sales team along with learning from our technology experts across the group. 

 

Objectives of this role

  • Represent the company’s services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales team in next steps
  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead generation playbook

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise CRM system, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate solutions
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Engage with prospects to set up meetings or calls between prospects and sales team
  • Ensure activity is accurately recorded in the CRM to support forecasting

 

Experience and skills we value

  • Two or more years of experience in IT or Software sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical value propositions
  • High level of persistence and self-motivation and consistently reach daily/weekly targets
  • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skill
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
  • Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and ability to learn complex solutions quickly
