Overview

Damovo Global Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Global Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a hunter mentality and will be responsible for winning new business opportunities.

As a Global Account Manager, you will manage the complete sales cycle from initial prospect engagement through to deal close, and ongoing account management. With a consultative, services and solutions-based selling style, you will build effective relationships to fully understand customer requirements and needs. You will work in close collaboration with the Pre-Sales, Services and Projects teams to develop robust client solutions and managed services propositions. The successful candidate will be a determined, self-sufficient and energetic individual with exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • To create and identify new business opportunities within large enterprise organisations that support the achievement of your sales targets
  • To create, maintain and execute strategic account and opportunity plans to ensure structured development and an organised approach
  • Ability to develop pipelines through strategic and targeted planning
  • To engage various stakeholders which often includes procurement and commercial departments to establish the project needs and delivery requirements
  • To manage all customer engagement, solutions definition, bid negotiation, pricing and closure activity

Experience and skills we value

  • 10 years’ experience in a Global Account Manager role selling multi-vendor ICT infrastructure solutions or Managed Service/outsourced solutions
  • A track record of identifying, managing, negotiating and closing substantial IT/Communications service, managed service, consultancy or solution based contracts
  • Extremely organised and disciplined with excellent communication skills and a realistic approach to pipeline evaluation
  • An astute, commercially aware individual with a naturally inquisitive streak with the ability to overcome obstacles and simplify complexity
  • Experience working to achieve sales targets and meeting management expectations in terms of accurate forecasting and activity planning
  • Self-motivated individual who can thrive in a home office environment

As this is a global role candidates must be flexible and be willing to travel to attend various customer meetings/presentations when required.
