We are looking for an experienced Account Manager (Dutch Speaking) to join Damovo Belgium and play a key role in developing and growing accounts across the Retail, Energy, and Manufacturing sectors.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to your clients, identifying business opportunities, shaping tailored solutions, and driving commercial growth across your portfolio. You will work closely with our Pre-Sales, Services, and Projects teams to ensure our clients receive the right support at every stage of the customer journey.

Your Mission

You'll be responsible for growing Damovo's presence across Dutch-speaking Belgium by building new customer relationships and developing existing accounts.

Working closely with organisations in the retail, energy, and manufacturing sectors, you'll take the time to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities where our solutions can make a real difference. Whether opening new doors, expanding strategic accounts, or helping customers navigate their digital transformation journey, you'll play a key role in driving growth and long-term partnerships.

This is a role for someone who enjoys meeting customers, spotting opportunities, and turning conversations into lasting business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with existing and prospective clients across Retail, Energy, and Manufacturing
  • Identify new business opportunities within your assigned portfolio and beyond
  • Understand client needs and translate them into tailored Damovo solutions
  • Manage the full commercial cycle, from opportunity development through to negotiation and closure
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales, Services, and Projects teams to design and deliver effective solutions
  • Lead customer engagement activities, including solution definition, bid negotiation, pricing, and contract closure
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to Damovo’s commercial growth
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market developments, client priorities, and sector trends
  • Represent Damovo professionally in all client interactions

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years in B2B ICT sales
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English; French is a strong advantage
  • Proven experience in account management, consultative sales, or business development within ICT, IT services, telecom, or a related B2B environment
  • Experience in managing, negotiating, and closing substantial commercial contracts
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to build trust quickly
  • A commercial mindset with a proven track record of achieving targets
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners to solve complex challenges
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
  • An entrepreneurial, proactive, and customer-focused approach
